PYP 2 has been learning about 3D shapes.
The students learnt their names and characteristics.
-sphere
-pyramid
-rectangular prism
-cylinder
-cube
-cone
They compared their faces to different flat shapes and sorted out pictures of different objects. Afterwards, the students brought in objects from home and we created our own
"3D SHAPES MUSEUM"
Take a look at PYP2 Sigma's pictures!
One of the activities involving the museum was to pick out one object of each shape, represent it on a paper and name them.

One interesting discovery the group had was that we can't draw the 3D shapes, since the paper is flat. They were only representing them. Wow!
